Bilge Pump Operations
Pump Monitoring
Nautic Alert Insight continuously monitors and tracks your bilge pump activities. Insight knows how many times the pump was activated as displayed by the pump counter and how long the pump operated for each cycle. It even understands what is not a normal pump runtime for your yacht.
Pump Status
Nautic Alert Nevata will conduct periodic testing of each pump to ensure it is operational and ready. Should the pump fail the test, Nevata will communicate with Nautic Alert Insight to update the pump status to “Fault” and a notification will be issued on-board and to remote message recipients.
Pump Swapping
If the Dual Pump Nautic Alert Nevata Controller is being used and the primary pump status is “Fault” or is ineffective at removing water, Nevata will automatically switch from the primary pump to the backup pump making the backup pump the active pump until the primary is serviced or replaced, and vice versa. Nautic Alert Insight will indicate this condition.
Bilge Temperature
Freezing temperatures in the bilge compartment is not a good thing so Nautic Alert Insight will show you the bilge compartment temperature.
